Ninja Assassin

Pretty silly. Lots of blood – an extreme amount of blood gushing everywhere, nice splatter. Plenty of action and ninja fights that were pretty cool. More supernatural than I expected. Hmm... this was directed by James McTeigue, who also directed V for Vendetta. He clearly didn't quite succeed this time – probably because the actors and script weren't as good. As with V, this film was also produced by the Wachowski duo and Joel Silver. You could definitely see some Matrix effects in the fights...
