Very cool movie. Matt Damon totally works in this super soldier role (though it wasn't as extreme as Jason Bourne). Good action drive... the chase scenes were intense - running full-speed between buildings with the cameraman tight behind. Very slick cinematography. I'm really digging these urban warfare movies - like Black Hawk Down, Body of Lies, etc. There's something exciting, different, and unpredictable about that kind of combat. I thought the environment was pretty awesome... many shots showed a very large (war-torn) area, and it was quite impressive. I don't know how much was added with CGI, but it was pretty believable. They could have lied to me and said it was all filmed in Iraq - but it was apparently filmed in Spain and then Morocco. The military often has all sorts of cool tech... I was really digging the helicopter that flew over the city and could automatically detect (in the dark) whether someone was an American soldier or an enemy.
