Lightweight... or rather, formulaic - totally expected that. Young, sexy people playing around abroad, and what do you think happens? Oh, some bad guys show up and want to hurt them - ta-DA-RA! :) But it's a pretty creepy plot - doesn't exactly make you want to go to Brazil/South America. Fun to see Desmond Askew from Go again. ***SPOILER ALERT*** (Okay, maybe not a huge spoiler, but if you don't want to know anything about the movie, just stop reading now.) The 'most horrifying' thing about this horror film was the chase in the water cave (or whatever you'd call it) – pretty original, I haven't seen anything like that before. You definitely got a slight sense of claustrophobia.
