The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug

Really cool movie. Very exciting. Good action. They've created a giant and magnificent world here – it's an amazing experience to watch (especially in 3D and 48 frames/sec). Great cinematography and good pacing. Very visual – everything looked really good; costumes, environment, special effects, etc. An exceptionally fun adventure film. Even though it's very long (161 min.), it didn't drag – it kept my attention the whole time. It's certainly a sequel to the first Hobbit movie in this trilogy, so in many ways it was similar. Looking forward to seeing the third movie – and getting a real ending to this story ;)
