The Dark Knight

Amazing movie - really cool, insane cinematography, and the action scenes were naturally awesome. Everything was very polished - the film had a very cool "texture." Similar to Batman Begins, the evening/night scenes were very grim - creating a rather unique atmosphere... The movie was also terrifyingly funny at times - mainly when the Joker was involved, which was fitting. Heath Ledger did very well - he managed to make the Joker (literally) one of the craziest characters you've seen on the silver screen; it wouldn't be surprising at all if he got an Oscar. You would have totally wanted to see him in more Batman movies... It will be exciting to see if they continue and make a third movie in this revitalized Batman series - and considering The Dark Knight is breaking one record after another, it's pretty likely. A rather long movie, but it didn't seem that way - an endless battle back and forth between good and evil. Nice to see William Fichtner there in a small role...
