Dog Day Afternoon

Quite long/drawn out - changing times... It probably would have had a faster pace (shorter scenes and shots) if it had been made today. Pretty exciting at times. Simple credit list - didn't list carpenters, drivers, cooks, accountants and all the rest like in modern films. It made it a bit more interesting that it's based on true events. Interesting to see actors in supporting roles that you recognize from movies and shows, just much younger ;) The film apparently won an Oscar for the screenplay and received 5 other nominations. * I saw this film on a plane (i.e. on a small screen)
