Citizen Kane (1941) - IMDb

It took a while to get into the rhythm of the movie... These old films are just built so differently from what you usually watch. Pretty funny in parts (intentionally/unintentionally?). Drama/conflict. An interesting film in many ways... This is one of those movies you almost have to watch if you're going to call yourself a film buff - it's often on lists of the best films ever made. I'm not entirely sure I agree with that... I certainly wouldn't put it in the top 20 most enjoyable films I've seen (nor the top 50). I felt like the moral of the story was that money (a ridiculous amount of it) doesn't necessarily bring you happiness. Pretty well directed - some cool shots. Apparently, this was the first time most of the main actors had been in a movie - but the acting was still okay.
