Black Swan

Dark. Eerie. Heavy. Twisted. Kinda disturbing (Darren Aronofsky probably digs movies like that). It's a little creepy/uncomfortable how disturbed/messed up she (the main character, Nina Sayers/Natalie Portman) is. The mom is also pretty crazy, maybe to some extent the cause of the madness (tons of pressure, living the life she couldn't live). Interesting/cool metaphors (black and white used here and there). She lives in a super tiny Manhattan apartment. Darren used an effect kind of similar to the SnorriCam, except the character was followed from behind (very close) - maybe you could call it a NeckCam ;) * I watched most of this movie on a plane.
