Really cool movie. The special effects were flawless - incredibly realistic. Seeing it in 3D was absolutely brilliant - and essential for this film too. The cinematography was clearly made with 3D in mind, often feeling like you were right there. An amazing experience. I was really digging the neon rave vibe in the jungle at night - very cool. A great and interesting adventure world. Good action - the final battle was magnificent, enormous. I sort of got the feeling it was a bit of a satire on the Iraq War - at least some connection; invading a territory for resources and all that. The 3D stuff actually glitched a bit sometimes, you weren't always getting the "3D focus" right away. But maybe that was just my eyes getting used to it. Cool how the subtitles seemed to float above the movie. Good stuff.
